I · Service Description

"Owo" (hereinafter "the Service") is a cultural entertainment product based on public-domain ancient texts such as Maya Shenxiang and Bingjian.

Core Purpose: A traditional culture entertainment tool, similar to MBTI testing but with face reading as the entry point.

NOT: A fortune-telling tool, medical diagnostic tool, psychological counseling service, hiring assessment tool, or basis for marriage decisions.

II · Important Disclaimer

Please read carefully:

  • Face reading has not been scientifically proven to predict fate in mainstream science
  • All interpretations are framed as "the classics say" or "tradition holds" — presenting a cultural perspective, not making judgments about your fate
  • DO NOT use test results as a basis for decisions regarding: education, career, marriage, health, investment, or hiring
  • You bear full responsibility for any decisions made based on this service's content

III · User Conduct

By using this service, you agree to:

  • Not upload photos of others without their explicit consent
  • Not upload photos of celebrities or public figures
  • Not upload photos of minors (to protect children)
  • Not upload images containing pornographic, violent, or illegal content
  • Not use the service's output to attack or cyberbully anyone
  • Not use this service for commercial assessments (e.g., job interviews, matchmaking)
  • Not attack, scrape, or abuse this service through technical means

IV · Intellectual Property

1. Our Content

  • The product design, UI, code, and brand identity belong to Owo's operator
  • 16 Persona profiles and AI-generated card text are copyright of the operator
  • Commercial use requires prior written authorization

2. Ancient Text Content

  • All cited ancient texts (Maya Shenxiang, Bingjian, etc.) are public-domain works
  • Quoting original ancient texts raises no copyright issues

3. User-Generated Cards

  • Persona cards generated by users may be freely shared for personal and social purposes
  • The Owo watermark and "For entertainment only" notice must not be removed
  • Commercial use (e.g., printing for sale, company promotion) requires prior authorization from us

V · Changes & Termination

  • We may adjust, add, or terminate features at any time with prior in-product notification
  • We reserve the right to terminate access for users who violate these terms
  • We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions or data loss (except as required by law)

VI · Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The service is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties
  • We make no guarantees regarding the service's accuracy, reliability, or continuity
  • We are not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from use of the service
  • Users are responsible for their own accounts, devices, and data

VII · Minor Protection

This service is intended for users aged 18 and above users. Users under 18:

  • Should use it under parental guidance
  • Should not upload photos of others
  • Guardians are responsible for minors' use of the service

VIII · Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China
  • Disputes arising from these terms should first be resolved through friendly negotiation
  • If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court at the operator's location

IX · Terms Updates

We may update these Terms of Service. Significant changes will be prominently announced on the homepage. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
